About Andrew

Andrew grew up in Ballina, 30 minutes south of Byron Bay on the beautiful north coast of NSW.

Joining the Navy at 19, this was the time when his love and enthusiasm for photography grew as he was exposed to interesting experiences and service in East Timor and the Middle East.

After leaving the Navy to pursue photography, he began a career in Sydney in 2002, and moved to Tasmania in 2004.

Here he works as an AIPP-accredited photographer, and recently joined another Andrew (Andrew Quaile) to form Moving Ink - a small Tasmanian film-production company specialising in beautiful and truly unique wedding-day motion pictures.

Andrew is passionate about uniquely capturing the important moments in people's lives. One of the most rewarding moments for Andrew is presenting clients with a photo documentary of their day.

When working for corporate and commercial clients, Andrew ensures each image reinforces the key messages. With a relaxed and casual approach he pays particular attention to detail in everything he does. One of the biggest factors in getting great results is being able to make clients feel comfortable.

Andrew has provided photography services to clients in Australia & worldwide. He lives in Launceston with his wife Emily and daughters, Charlie and Stella.
